At the election held November 5, 2024, voters in all 5 Paloma Creek Water Districts passed Proposition A, which proposed the approval of a contract with the Little Elm Fire Department for fire and emergency medical services in Paloma Creek and Northlake Estates, beginning on December 1, 2024. 

This approval was crucial, as the Aubrey Fire Department will be vacating their Navo Fire Station in the coming year to occupy a new station in Winn Ridge, leaving the Little Elm Fire Station on Navo Road as the closest option.
