Little Elm Fire Engine

The Little Elm Fire Department (LEFD) is a professional emergency response agency comprised of 80 plus dedicated full-time firefighters operating from three strategically located firehouses. LEFD was founded in 1960 and maintains a 24/7 operational schedule, which is necessary to ensure a rapid and reliable response to fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents and events. The Little Elm Fire Department aims to safeguard our communities by providing exceptional pre-hospital care, efficient fire suppression, and comprehensive fire prevention services. Through dedicated and highly trained personnel, they strive to protect lives, property, and the environment with unwavering commitment, professionalism, and customer service.

All 9-1-1 calls from the Paloma Creek area are routed to the City of Denton Public Safety Communications Center, who will connect you to the Denton County Sheriff's Office dispatch center who will dispatch the Little Elm Department to the location.

Little Elm PD

The Fresh Water Supply Districts of Paloma Creek contract with Little Elm Police Department to provide police patrols for our community. The Patrol Division works 12-hour shifts, providing coverage 24-hours a day, seven days a week.  

The Little Elm Police Department is fully accredited and empowered to enforce Texas state laws.

Crime Reporting

If you witness a crime or suspicious activity, please call 9-1-1 immediately. The operator will dispatch a Little Elm Police Officer to the location immediately. If it is not an urgent matter, please email mailto:informlepd@littleelem.orginformLEPD@littleelm.org.

Do not send emails to the Districts. the Paloma Creek HOA or post crime related issues needing police response on social media. This creates unnecessary delays.
