Originally established in 2003, Denton County Fresh Water Supply District 11-A covers 424 acres of Paloma Creek. The District is located south of Highway 380, between Flamingo Drive and Spoonbill Drive. Extending across Navo Road and Villa Paloma, DCFWSD 11-A is home to the Paloma Creek Dog Park.

Meeting Schedule


Denton County Fresh Water Supply District 11-A has their regularly scheduled Board meetings on the 4th Monday of every month at 6:30 pm by teleconference. The meetings are open to the public, per Texas law, and the Board welcomes and encourages residents to attend.

Residents of the district have the right to request the designation of a meeting location within the district under Section 49.062(g), Water Code. A description of this process can be found here.

For Interested Candidates

To run for election to the District’s Board of Directors, a person must file an application for a place on the ballot. Application for a place on The General Election Ballot can be found on the Texas Secretary of State website at:
https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/pol-sub/2-21f.pdf

To be qualified to serve as a Director, a person shall be a US citizen, at least 18 years old, a resident of the State of Texas and either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter in the District (Texas Water Code 54.102).
